What you should know

From Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), you will have to take a 30 minutes flight to Pokhara Airport (PKR). This journey will cost you USD 91-226.

Alternatively, take a 3-hour bus ride from Kathamndu to Mugling. This journey will cost you USD5-6. Then, take a private hire to Pokhara, which will take around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Yes. Pokhara is still undiscovered at the moment and not many are familiar with the trekking routes other than the locals. Having a local guide with you will prevent you from getting lost as you are unlikely to meet other travellers around!

Yes! All treks in the Pokhara region should be trained for. However, only light cardio training to ensure good physical shape is required. The trek is manageable even for amateur mountaineers.

It is possible to visit all year round but the best time to visit is from September to November when the skies are generally clear and the views are spectacular.

From December to February, the weather will be very cold whereas May to August is the monsoon season.

At the moment, there is only one option category offered in this adventure.

Some interesting activities in Pokhara include boat rides along Lake Phewa, white water rafting, and visiting bat caves. Otherwise, you can head to Kathmandu after your trek to enjoy the city culture of Nepal!

Nepal is a conservative, deeply religious country and there are many temple visits in this adventured. To respect local customs, please pack plenty of long-sleeved clothing and avoid wearing tight-fitting or revealing clothes.
