Is Yogyakarta closed due to COVID-19?
Yogyakarta has been closed in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19. The proposed re-opening date is August 1st. During this time period, no tours to Yogyakarta will be allowed.
Domestic travelers and foreigners can visit the park just outside the Borobudur temple.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates if the opening date were to change.
