What you should know

How do I get there?

You will need to fly to Dehra dun airport (DED) from Delhi (DEL) airport. It will take 50 minutes by plane and cost USD22-95. From DED airport, take a private hire, which takes approximately 6 hours depending on road conditions.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) to Haridwar. You will have to board the subway Orange Line from IGI to New Delhi station. This would take 30 minutes and cost USD1. Then, make a transfer at New Delhi station and board the train towards Haridwar. It will take you around 4 hours 15 minutes and cost USD4-15 to get to Haridwar. Please check the daily schedules beforehand to know which train you should be boarding at what time. From Haridwar, the cab costs approximately USD9-11 and takes about 30 minutes.

Do I need to go with a guide?
