Here you'll find dozens of dive sites for divers of all levels, almost 60% of the world's corals intact, visibility beyond 20 metres, and dynamic marine life such as turtles, parrotfish and lionfish. In winter, you might spot the odd dolphin, humpback whale or sperm whale.

How do I get there?
Kenting is accessible via the HSR, or High Speed Rail which connects Taipei with Zuoying, Kaohsiung. The total travel time from Taipei to Zuoying (Kaohsiung) via HSR is approximately 90 min. After arrival in Zuoying, exit the station and head outside where there is a bus stop. You can also hire a private car from Taipei to Kenting.
Do I need to go with a guide?
It's mandatory to dive with a divemaster in Kenting National Park to ensure the safety of all divers.
Do I need to train up?
There's no need to train up, though you should be confident in the water. There are many spots with varying difficulty levels and something can be found for divers of all levels even complete beginners who are looking to obtain their Open Water certification or just want to experience diving for 1 day.
What's the best time to go?
The best months to visit are January, February, March
