From Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), you will have to take a 30 minutes flight to Pokhara Airport (PKR). This journey will cost you USD 91-226.
Alternatively, take a 3-hour bus ride from Kathamndu to Mugling. This journey will cost you USD5-6. Then, take a private hire to Pokhara, which will take around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Yes! All treks in the Pokhara region should be trained for. However, only light cardio training to ensure good physical shape is required. The trek is manageable even for amateur mountaineers.
It is possible to visit all year round but September to November is the best time since the skies are generally clear and views are spectacular. From December to February, it will be very cold and from May to August will be the monsoon season.
