What you should know
The closest airport is Lombok International Airport. Most of the operators provide pick-up and drop-off options from the Airport at no extra cost.
If you're trying to pick up surfing or trying to improve your surfing, you should definitely get a surf instructor! The small class size will ensure you master the proper form and techniques!
Surfing requires a degree of balance, but don't worry too much about it as the instructors will guide you at a pace that will be comfortable for you!
There are no seasons, Lombok has great waves all year round!
The main difference is the number of days of the surf camps. To really get into the art of surfing, we recommend staying for at least 4D3N so that the instructor has time to guide you through the basics and get you to catch your first wave.
There are many other beautiful beaches in Kuta to explore, check them all out! Tanjung Aan is the most popular with pristine white sand and clear blue waters; while Seger beach takes you away from the crowd but requires a bit of travel time and a small entrance fee.
Lombok is also known for its colourful Sasak culture, beautiful waterfalls which you can hike, and lush forests surrounding its active volcano, Mount Rinjani.
Do check the price inclusions to see if meals are provided. Some of our local partners do not provide meals in hopes that you will try out some local food!
