Alternatively, you could take the train from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) to Haridwar. You would have to board the Orange Line subway from IGI to New Delhi station. This would take 30 minutes and cost USD1. Then make a transfer at New Delhi station and board the train towards Haridwar. Please check the daily schedules beforehand to know which train you should be boarding. From Haridwar, the cab costs approximately USD9-11 and it would take about 30 minutes to get there.

If you're interested in snow, winter (September-December) would be the best time to visit this trek.
Kunjapuri Trek - Mid Sept to Mid April, for the best weather conditions. An early morning start is recommended to catch the sunrise.
Dasrath Ka Danda - April to June and Mid- September to March. If you wish to catch the Hariyali puja at the Pavki Devi temple, December/January would be the best months to visit as it is the Pausha month according to the Hindu calendar.
