We had a wonderful day with Ignas. He is a very knowledgeable guide and told us all about Flores and the area we were travelling through. We started with a short hike to Cunca Waterfall, and we all enjoyed jumping off the rocks and swimming in the beautiful canyon. Afterwards we went to a small village to watch a Caci whip dance by local Mangarrai people. They were so welcoming and friendly, and seemed to enjoy the visit as much as we did! We felt very lucky to get a glimpse of traditional life. I was worried that it might feel very touristy or exploitative but it was not that way at all - they seemed genuinely happy and interested to meet us. Highly recommended for seeing a less-visited and authentic part of Flores - and Ignas is a great guide.
