Helpful Questions

Is tufting hard to learn?
Not at all! It's really easy and meditative, and you'd be able to do it even if you aren't into crafting! All you need to do is come with an idea of what you want to do (a picture would be good), draw it on a canvas and then use the tufting gun to create your rug! The tufting gun can be quite tiring to use after some time, so you'll need to have some endurance to use it for 3-4 hours - but it's really no harder than using a bubble gun!
Why is tufting so popular?
It got really popular after it became a design trend on TikTok! When people started trying it, they realised that it was really easy for beginners to learn, and super meditative so the trend really took off from there. It's one of our favourite things to do for a birthday or on a solo weekend afternoon as it really helps us de-stress, recharge and we love what we create!
How much does tufting cost?
Depending on the studio you go to, it'll be $180 and above usually, especially if you're looking to use good quality wool that will last. You'll be able to create a good-size rug (about 50cm x 50cm) that lasts for years and years, so it's a good investment, plus it's super fun!
