Highlights
Kinabalu Park was one of Malaysia’s first national parks, which covers an area of 754 sq km. It is the first Park in the Malaysian Borneo’s state of Sabah.
Its main feature is Mount Kinabalu (4,095.2 m), the highest mountain between the Himalayas and New Guinea. You will have a scenic drive to Kinabalu Park passing by villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along with the Crocker range. Have a brief stop at Nabalu Market, here you can get good bargains for local handicrafts and enjoy the cool surrounding.
Poring is known for its hot sulfur spring bath which was first developed by the Japanese during World War II. Upon arrival, soak yourself into hot sulphuric spring in an open-air Japanese style bathtub or walk on the Canopy Walkway with 157.6m in length and 41m in height.
Proceed to Kinabalu Park and join a guided walk at the Mountain Garden to see a rare collection of plants and flowers.
