Ballet: Is it for me?This 2.5h Introductory Workshop breaks down the fundamentals of Classical Ballet and walks participants through the very basics, at the barre and in the centre. Expect a light-hearted session that guarantees fun, laughter and wow moments as you discover one another's unique displays of artistry and creativity. Unveil what ballet is really all about and discover the lesser known benefits of learning ballet (both leisurely and professionally). What to Expect: ProgrammeBe taken through basic ballet vocabulary and learn a variety of steps from Ballet Quarter's teachers - former Professional Ballet Dancers. Having nailed the foundations of ballet, you will work alongside your colleagues/friends to master a Pas de Quartre (translates to "Step of Four", i.e. a ballet dance for 4 people), from the well-known Ballet, Swan Lake. While dancing in sync is no simple feat, we know you're not one to back away from a buzzing challenge!To wrap up the high energy session, participants will be invited to showcase their learnings.
