During this trip, you will learn about many aboriginal cultures, and also savour their local specialities made from the mountain vegetables and fresh seafood. Enjoy the majestic scenery of Taroko, go swimming and river tracing in the great water areas. Unveil the mysterious Shakadang Trail built along a river cliff. It will lead you to the old Datong tribal village. Relax at the pebble beach of Qixingtan, observe fishermen working along the shore. Explore the history of the Japanese army at The Military Command Center. Visit Carp Lake surrounded by mountains, cycle around or traverse the lake by pedal boat. This trip includes return transfer from Taipei.

Today you will admire the majestic scenery of Taroko Gorge and savour the local delicacies!!

  • 07:40 am - Depart from Taipei. Meet your guide at Taipei Main Station West 3 Gate (台北車站西3門) and take the train to Hualien.
  • 12:30 pm - Lunch. Savour the delicacies of Aboriginal food, made from fresh seafood and mountain vegetable.
  • 01:30 pm - Visit Taroko Gorge and admire its majestic scenery.
  • 04:00 pm - Head to Shakagang Trail, also known as "mysterious valley trail", is built along a river cliff.
  • 05:50 pm - Enjoy the dinner at Hualien night market.
  • Overnight stay in Hualien. (local high-quality B&B or 3-star hotel)

Day 2: Hualien - Taipei
Hualien - Taipei

Today you will visit visit some museums and enjoy East Coast of Taiwan at Seven Star Bay!

  • 09:00 am - Depart from your hotel in Hualien.
  • 09:30 am - Visit The Military Command Center. Explore the history of the Japanese army.
  • 11:00 am - Visit Chinghsiu Temple and Learn about the story of Japanese immigration.
  • 12:00 pm - Lunch
  • 01:30 pm - Head to The Carps Lake offering a unique scenery surrounded by mountains. Take a leisure walk, cycle around the lake, or traverse the lake by pedal boat.
  • 03:30 pm - Go swimming or simply relax at Qixingtai beach. Observe the fishermen along the shore at this pebble beach.
  • 04:30 pm - Arrive in Hualien train station and go to Taipei by train (The trip will end at Taipei Train Station)
