This is a 2.5 Hour workshop where you'll get crafty and learn about the beautiful traditional art form of marbling. This is suitable for all ages so it's perfect for a fun day out with friends or family. Art of Paper MarblingMarbling is one of the most traditional, and elegant form of art, which has come back in popularity in recent years. This unique art form essentially utilises the spontaneous flow of paint in water, to create marbled designs where no two pieces of marbled art are alike. What to ExpectThis workshop will teach you how to use brushes, combs sticks and other implements to manipulate paints into hypnotising patterns, then laying specially-prepared paper on top of the liquid to pick up the paints. The end result is a one-of-a-kind work of abstract art that is entirely your own! Artefakts' cosy studio and thoughtful teaching methodology provide the best environment to pick up a new skill, for children and adults alike.NOTE: Children under 13 years old should be accompanied by an adult. In addition, to allow adequate drying and setting, all marbled papers will be mailed to participants via local post after the workshop.
