A Kintsugi Christmas: Mend broken ornaments with gold and intention
This Christmas, craft 3 beautiful Kintsugi Christmas ornaments in a fun, hands-on workshop while learning the Japanese art of mending what’s broken. Unlike other Kintsugi workshops, you’ll break and repair festive ornaments, turning cracks into golden reminders of hope, resilience, and creativity. It’s a joyful yet mindful way to end the year — creating, reflecting, and celebrating life’s imperfect beauty.Led by a warm and thoughtful instructor, you’ll leave not just with ornaments that are truly one-of-a-kind, but also a deeper appreciation for how flaws can make things (and us!) more beautiful. Perfect for creatives, reflective souls, or anyone who wants to wrap up the year with intention, creativity, and a touch of magic. What to ExpectCraft 3 unique Kintsugi ornaments using traditional techniques and real gold powder.Learn the history and philosophy of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of embracing flaws.Break and mend ceramics in a gently guided, reflective process.Enjoy fragrant green tea and Japanese snacks in a serene, cozy studio.Connect with a small group of like-minded people in a calming, beautiful space.Good to KnowJoin-in workshop: small, friendly group.Quiet, welcoming studio: perfect for reflection and creativity.2.5 hours total, with plenty of time for hands-on work, stories, and gentle reflection.

Meet your host
Nilo started her studio in 2022 after witnessing how the art of kintsugi helped her daughters cope with the loss of their grandfather. Moved by its quiet strength, she felt it could bring comfort to others going through tough times. Since then, she’s been creating a gentle space for people to explore healing through this thoughtful craft. Nilo also works closely with the Samaritans of Singapore, running Kintsugi Healing Workshops for those impacted by suicide, made possible through public donations. Her approach is warm, grounded, and rooted in real experience, making her studio feel like a safe corner in a busy world.
