This is a private 1.5-hour virtual session with an experienced wellness coach, where you'll learn techniques to be more centred, and mindful in your everyday surroundings. Group size: 10-30 persons. What to Expect This 1.5 hour guided online workshop will give you an introduction of what is nature and forest bathing, and a brief description of its benefits on well-being. Forest Bathing is a Japanese nature-based and mindfulness practice aimed at helping you feel more relaxed and more connected to yourself and the world around you. No experience is required, and everyone is welcome. Participants will be guided into an immersive nature and forest bathing experience by following the facilitation of the guide. Through a series of slow, simple and sensory activities, participants will explore what it means to connect with their environment and immediate space with their senses. In this journey, they may also discover what aspects of nature and wellbeing matter to them. Sharing circles are also an integral part of guided nature and forest bathing experiences. Participants are encouraged to head outside (nearby parks, gardens etc) to join the call. If participants are unable to head outside, they may stay indoors, close by the windows or balcony. What to Prepare at Home *Please make sure you have a good internet connection on your electronic devices.*You may choose to join the session either in the comfort of your own home or in any outdoor environment (i.e. parks. Please make sure to abide by local advisories &amp; safety measures). *Prepare hot tea or water next to you. Video Conferencing Platform*The operator is able to host sessions via Zoom. Invitation to join the session will be provided closer to the date of the event.*If your organisation uses a different platform (MicrosoftTeams or Google Meet), the operator is able to join with an invitation from you.

A pioneer guide in Singapore and Southeast Asia, she is passionate about self-care, slowing down practically, and re-connecting to nature. Youmin guides with Singapore’s National Parks Board and she conducts nature therapy to support specific communities such as people living with dementia, as well for families. Programmes in Xiu Nature Connections include forest bathing, nature connection programmes and Yoga Nidra.
