Sophie's passion for furniture art all began in France many years ago. It was a hobby she discovered when she and her husband purchased their dream home in Brittany. This beautiful home was filled with antique, dark hued and solid wood furniture that she could not bring herself to throw out. That is when her interest in transforming old unattractive furniture started… a new way of colouring her life!
15 years later, she realised that getting her hands dirty with paint and giving a second or third (or more) chance to tired furniture is what she wanted to spend most of her days doing. It is what made her happy and the transformations elated her!
So welcome to Chalk & Chic, where Sophie hopes you will get inspired to get your hands dirty too and colour YOUR world.
