Mount Fansipan (or Phan Xi Păng in Vietnamese) is the highest mountain in Indochina, at 3,143m. There are several trails to reach the summit of Mount Fansipan, known romantically as the ‘Roof of Indochina’ and this is one of the easiest ones which is known as the Tram Ton Pass trail. It begins at the entrance to Thác Tình Yêu (Love Waterfall), 15km west of Sapa and will take you up and down Mount Fansipan within a day.

Today you'll hike up to 3143m to the summit of Mount Fansipan, known as the ‘Roof of Indochina’
- - 6 am: Head to the Tram Ton Pass. This is one of the routes up Mount Fansipan. You and the guide will climb to 2200m.
- - 12 pm: Lunch
- - 12:30 pm: After lunch, keep going up to 3143m.
- - 2 pm: Start descending. It'll take 5 hours to descend.
- - 7 pm: Finish
