The 18 Day Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the mountain ranges of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km. It is suitable for novices in decent physical shape. Eighteen days is the standard amount of time for the trek.

Day 1: Kathmandu

  • Annapurna circuit trekking briefing with official arrangements.
  • Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu-Beshishar-Bulbule

2 Hour trek

  • Breakfast
  • Drive from Kathmandu to Beshishar (823m), approximately 5-6 hours.
  • Trek to Bulbule (967m), approximately 2 hours.
Day 3: Bulbule-Bahundada

5-6 Hours Trek

  • Bulbule trek to Bahundada (1311m), approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 4: Bahundada-Jagat

5-6 Hours Trek

  • Bahundada trek to Jagat (1314m), approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 5: Jagat-Dharapani

5-6 Hours Trek

  • Jagat trek to Dharapani (1943m), approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 6: Dharapani-Chame

5-6 Hours Trek

  • Dharapani trek to Chame (2713m), approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 7: Chame-Pisang

5-6 Hours Trek

  • Chame trek to Pisang (3185m), approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 8: Pisang-Manang

  • Pisang trek to Manang (3440m), approximately 4-5 hours.
Day 9: Manang

Acclimatization/rest day

  • Hike up to Ice lake or Tea shop nearby Gangapurna base camp where you will see panoramic Himalayan scenery including Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, Pisang peak, Thorung peak, Peak 38 etc.
  • Overnight at Manang village.
Day 10: Manang-Yak Kharka

4-5 Hours Trek

  • Manang trek to Yak Kharka (413m), approximately 4-5 hours.
Day 11: Yak Kharka-Thorung Phedi

5 Hours Trek

  • Yak Kharka trek to Thorung Phedi (4640m), approximately 5 hours.
Day 12: Thorung Phedi (4640m)/Thorung High camp(4800m) -Muktinath(3802m)

6-7 Hours Trek

  • Thorung Phedi (4640m)/Thorung High camp (4800m) via Thorung La pass (5416m) trek to Muktinath (3802m), approximately 6-7 hours.
Day 13: Muktinath-Kagbeni

3-4 Hours Trek

  • After breakfast, Muktinath trek to Kagbeni (2667m), approximately 3-4 hours.
Day 14: Kagbeni-Jomsom

4 Hours Trek

  • Kagbeni trek to Jomsom (2725m), approximately 4 hours.
Day 15: Jomsom-Pokhara

End of Trekking Program

  • After breakfast in the early morning, fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (915m), approximately 20 minutes.
  • Transfer to hotel.
  • This is the end of the trekking program.
  • Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 16: Pokhara-Kathmandu

  • Pokhara to Kathmandu overland transportation by tourist bus. Drive approximately 5-6 hours
  • Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 17: Kathmandu-Kathmandu valley

Sighseeing

  • After breakfast, HJT tour guide will take you for historical monuments sightseeing in Kathmandu valley such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Goddess Kumari, legend of Kathmandu valley, Monkey temple(Swyambhunath), Patan Dubare square, Mahabudhha, Golden temple etc. and in the evening farewell dinner in a Nepalese Restaurant.
  • Overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel.
Day 18: Kathmandu-Kathmandu International Airport
