Amed Zen Divers is the first locally owned dive center in the area, which means that the instructors at Amed Zen Divers are pioneers in the industry and are highly experienced. Under the guidance of your expert dive instructor, you will undergo 3 days of coursework which includes a combination of theory, confined water lessons and 5 practical open water dives. The waters of Amed and Tulamben have little to no currents which makes for a beginner friendly environment. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to explore the oceans freely, without having to be under the constant supervision of a dive guide. The PADI Open Water Course allows you to do just that - upon completion of the course, you will receive an internationally recognised dive certification that will allow you to dive in other parts of the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

Meet your host

Amed Zen Divers is one of Bali’s longest established, internationally accredited Dive Centers. Founded and operated by Wayan, an Amed local who is engrained in the local community and committed to environmental sustainability. He became the first local dive instructor to operate in this now-famous diving region of Bali. Diving with them, you can build your confidence for your first dive or enhance your existing diving skills and experiences for the more seasoned divers. They cater especially to small groups so you can dive in an intimate team setting where you know you will get the level of care you are after. Operated by well-trained and certified local dive instructors, Amed Zen Divers is dedicated to giving their guests an enjoyable and memorable dive experience. Relax and be one with the sea.
