Borneo Sandakan goes above and beyond by letting you experience the most of the Sandakan region. Most unique part is the nighttime jungle drive where you can spot bearded pigs, deer and civets and if you are really lucky – a leopard. The morning jungle walk along the Merbau Trail is also treat where you can find the Merbau Tree – a hiding place for people during the Japanese occupation. You will also get the essential Borneo wild life shots from your boat side seat during an afternoon and morning river safari.Â

Borneo Sandakan put their guests up at Myne Resort. The resort is a little tired but is at a lovely quiet spot by the river and has nice views.

We reached Sandakan with a plan but weren't sure on how to go about it. We walked across to the Borneo Sandakan Tours office and were really happy with the service that was provided by their staff. They were really helpful!
We did a tour of the Gomantong Caves and the Kinabatangan River Cruise. Gary (our guide) was extremely knowledgable and made sure we had a great time. The Gomantang caves were amazing but we got to see only a small part of it which was disappointing. The Kinabatangan River cruise was a little disappointing because we didn't get to spot any pigmy elephants.
We had a great day overall. But felt the tour was a little overpriced compared to all the adventure & sightseeing packages with got from the tour operator in Sarawak.

you won’t be able to cancel after you book.
In the Event of a Government Lockdown
If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
you may get a full refund via Seek Sophie credits or reschedule at no additional costs.
Otherwise, we would do our best to help you reschedule in other cases.
