Planning for a trekking tour in Sapa was made easier with Sapa Original Trek. Mr Tinh is very patient, organised and responsive to all of my enquiries about the tour. He follows up and check in on us even after our tour. Sinh, our tour guide took good care of us throughout the trek, he ensures that we can keep up with the hike and have enough short breaks in between. This Superman can really whip up some decent food with very little time and he helped us learn more about the culture in Sapa over dinner. We enjoyed every meal that was prepared by him. Trustworthy and excellent service. Highly recommend this company to anyone who wish to trek in Sapa. Tips : The weather in Dec can be cold and windy at night, it could range from -2 deg celcius to 10 deg celcius. You may want to bring a fleece jacket for the trip. There is no electricity at the base camp, so it will be ideal to bring along a torchlight / headlight.

We were very happy to have gotten Sapa Original Trek’s contact info from our guide for the Sapa trek. We were set up with our guide Chu for a 5am pick-up. Started trekking up Fansipan at 6am and reached the summit around 10:15am with small breaks in between and a longer one at the second hut. The trekking company was professional and quick in responding. We were provided good information and the trek was organized very well. Our guide Chu was strong and trekked quickly with us since we had to complete the trek in a few hours before returning to Hanoi. We highly recommend Sapa Original Trekking for anyone looking for exciting adventures in the Sapa área. Thank you again! We had an amazing time on Fansipan!!!!
Minh was an excellent guide and speaks fluent english. Even though it was cloudy at the peak, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience with his wonderful cooking using ingredients found along the way.
My wife and I went on two tours with Sapa Original Trek: "1-day Fansipan Trekking" and "The best and most beautiful trekking tour in Sapa". All the booking was handled to perfection and ease by Mr. Tinh , manager of the agency, and he understood exactly what we wanted from the first contact we made with him. On the day of our first tour (the hike to Fansipan), our amazing guide Sinh picked us up at our hotel bright and early and we drove to the point where we would start the trek. The hike to Fansipan summit was a bit tough but so enjoyable because of our guide, a very kind, intelligent and incredibly fit young man. He prepared lunch for us at the second camp (about an hour and a half before reaching the summit). After the hike, Sinh drove us back to the hotel for a much needed rest. On the following day, Sinh picked us up at our hotel again, very punctual, to begin the other tour. We wanted a trek along the different villages that was not touristy and a little more "off-the-beaten-path", and that was exactly what we got. The trek was wonderful, but the conversation shared with our guide about his village, his family, the culture, and the different ethnic groups of Sapa made the day and our whole stay in Sapa a wonderful one. He also prepared a very yummy lunch for us at around mid-day consisting of Báhn mi and plenty of fruits and cookies. We can't recommend Sapa Original Trek, and specially our guide Sinh, enough; he was so so great. Thank you so much for all your hospitality and for arranging everything to perfection. Cám on!
