We had an incredible 2-day trekking experience with our fantastic guide, Nhu! We hiked about 8-10 miles each day (with frequent stream crossings, muddy trails, and some rock scrambling), and I highly recommend (waterproof) shoes with good traction! The views were truly amazing and completely worth the effort! :)
Our night at Su Thanh Family Homestay was really memorable, with delicious fresh food, plenty of "happy water" (rice wine) to go around, and enjoyable conversation and games with our hosts. The family's children are really sweet, and the view from the home is beautiful.
I can't recommend LY Family Tours enough - Nhu made our time in Sapa extra special!

I had an incredible 2D1N trek with LY family tours. My guide Nhu was so patient and friendly the whole time - she held my hand when terrain was tricky, and happily paused when I wanted to take photos. We saw so many beautiful places together that I never would have seen on my own.
And staying with her family was such a highlight! They were all so nice to me, and the kids were so so cute! Dinner was the best food I've eaten here so far - and all vegetarian to cater to my diet.
I feel so lucky to have had this experience and spent time with such wonderful people.
For anyone visiting in the winter: make sure to bring gumboots or good hiking shoes! It gets muddy and slippery!!

We spent 4 glorious days with LyLy on the Ha Giang tour and it was certainly the most memorable and our favourite part of our time in Vietnam. LyLy made us feel totally at home, she was very funny and our kids loved her. She went over and above with what could have been considered extra activities and actively responded to all of our requests. Her knowledge whether geographical, historical or cultural was outstanding. The families that we stayed with in various home-stays were lovely and the food was out of this world.
We will certainly tour with LyLy again when we return to Vietnam. Thank you for being a wonderful host.

We had a great time on the trip, which was arranged perfectly from being to end starting (and ending) with the sleepy bus from and to Hanoi, lovely Homestays and amazing local food.
Even though the weather was very misty, the hikes were very beautiful and we got to see a magical Sapa off the beaten track. Our guide Nhu has taken very good care of us!

We stayed in Sapa for 4 days and went out for 3 days with Su. Su was a great guide. She listened to what we wanted and managed to accommodate our desire to get away from the crowds and take us to beautiful valleys where we were completely alone. She brought her own daughter to keep our 2 small girls company and even carried our 4 year old when she got tired. We did 2 10-12 km walks which were amazing! She also does treks staying in home stays so she knows all the trails far and wide! Highly recommend Su if you need a guide in Sapa.
