Beautiful park to visit. I highly recommend a morning Safari as you will be able to see more animals, have less people in the park and avoid the heat. We did a Safari with our 2 year old child and it was a fun day for all of us. Excellent experience!

Wonderful experience in this park, we never saw so many different wild animals and birds in a same place at the same time. We advice to take a 7 hours tour to take your time and enjoy the quietness and spend time really watching the animals. Leopards, Monkeys, Elephants, Crocodiles, Toucanos, Turtles, Buffalos, Cameleons, many type of birds. Highly recommend the tour with these guys.

This was such an amazing experience!! However seeing leopards, elephants is all about luck since they are living there in the wild. We had a good driver who followed fresh footsteps to locate them and after we found one, the family of the elephant joined us so we were literally surrounded by those beautiful animals. We had a excellent tour.. Highly recommend the tour with Ajith Safaris!

We had read a number of reviews that said this operator is particularly goof so we went with them. Communication was easy quick to reply via whatsapp. Our driver was very good at spotting animals, we found 22 different animals and 14 bird species and caught a slight glimpse of 2 leopards during first two hours. He was determined that we see more so he kept driving until we did. I really enjoyed the safari.

We had a 5 hour safari tour for 5500 rupes including pickup and return from hotel. Our driver is Ashad, son of Ajith. We enjoyed every minute in Udawalawe National Park! So many varieties of animals to see and Ashad has a real hawk eye to see small birds and even still chameleons with the exact color as the tree twigs. No idea how he made it. He has a book collection of animals in Sri Lanka therefore it also helps us to learn about many animals that we don't know before.
