My boyfriend and I did a total of 6 dives with FDC over 2 days, and couldn't have been happier with our experience. We wandered into Flores Dive Centre upon our arrival in Labuan Bajo and chatted to Cinzia in the dive shop a bit about our respective dive experiences. We decided to book in for one day with 3 dives, and since it had been about 1.5 yrs since our last dive, we decided to do a refresher which was incorporated into our first dive. Cinzia was so helpful and friendly - from our first inquiry at the shop to our goodbye after our last dive. On our first day diving we had Han as our dive master all to ourselves and he took us to the sandy bottom at the beginning of our first dive to do a refresher on our skills. Han was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and we immediately relaxed and knew we were in safe hands. All 3 dives were magnificent, including an absolute manta ray bonanza at Manta Point. Our second day diving we had Sudir as our dive master - again all to ourselves. Sudir was fantastic, very knowledgeable and with the most amazing eye for picking out sea life underwater. We had 3 spectacular dives and again were blessed with some amazing manta ray encounters and the most enormous green turtles sleeping peacefully on the reef. In terms of the sea life we saw - manta rays galore, green turtles, black and white tip sharks, barracuda, trigger fish, sweet lips, orangutan crab, nudibranch, stingray, cuttlefish, moray eel, puffer fish...actually too many incredible fish to name. The reefs are stunning and and the coral gardens are magnificent. Sometimes it's hard to decide what to focus on, there's so much beauty! The boat was fantastic with a great comfy beanbag/lounge roof area up top which I inevitably fell asleep on between dives. The food and snacks provided were delicious, and we appreciated the self serve tea, coffee and water. The crew was absolutely amazing - took care of everything, got us suited up, prepared everything before/during/after dives. All the staff of Flores Diving Centre were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and I cannot recommend them highly enough. There are so many dive shops lining the main road in Labuan Bajo but I would say just head directly here and you will be so well taken care of. The whole experience was so relaxed and enjoyable and we felt so safe and looked after. I wish we had longer to go for another day of diving - hopefully we will be back in the not-too-distant future. In early October my friend and I traveled to Labuan Bajo in Flores. My friend had never dived before and I was keen to see all that I could see including diving with at least 1 manta. We chose the Flores Dive Centre because it has a reputation of taking great care with divers, new and experienced. We went out for a full day and did multiple dives. The highlight of the day was our third dive where we were blessed with the appearance of not just one two or three Mantas, but more than 15! Extraordinary! We also saw turtles, sharks and stingrays. The whole day was really well run, the food was good and the crew were lovely and, more importantly, experienced and knowledgeable. Their equipment was good quality and in excellent condition. If you want a great day choose these guys!

There are about 40 dives centers in the very small town of Labuan Bajo. Flores Diving Centre (FDC) has a small shop front, and a relatively small but very cozy and friendly dive outfit. Before our trip, we stumbled on it while searching who to dive with. Cinzia, the owner, was super responsive from the beginning. We booked 3 days of diving and ended up doing 4 days with FDC. We told Cinzia we wanted to see the Komodo Dragons, and she arranged a trip to Rinca as part of our 1st day of diving - which is not a regular day trip - talk about service! The diving crew was amazing. Sudir gives the most thorough briefings, you know he knows his stuff. In the water he can point out from huge mantas to the tiniest near-transparent shrimps - amazing eyes. Yoram, the younger guide, is equally good at spotting marine life. Our younger son ended up doing his Advance Open Water with Instructor Han, who threw extra tips on how to make bubble rings...

We made open water course with Flores diving centre. It was one of our best experience during our 1,5 years travel in Asia. Despite it was quite hard job we got so much satisfaction with diving in amazing beautiful coral reef and with wandering underwater life. Although course lasts only three days after finishing it we felt confidence to dive by ourselves without any help. I think this is the best recommendation of professionalism of Flores diving centre because we were completely beginners and scuba diving isn't at the beginning easy thing to do. During whole course we felt all the time very safety and comfortable. The staff is very friendly with sense of humor and ready to help you and solve your problem neither this big nor small one. They have also big experience. Thank you very much one more time for this incredible time underwater:)

I dived with Flores Diving Centre for 2 days, together with my girlfriend. I did some fundives (2 days with 3 dives) and my girlfriend open water. The staff is really friendly, patient and helpful. The dive spots in Flores are awesome, in our last dive we saw a group of 10-12 manta's together. Awesome! On the daytrips they provide a good lunch, lot of snacks and water. The boat is a good place to chill/sleep in between and after the dives. Can recommend this center to anyone
