Details
Kenting is a perfect spot to become a certified diver because of its clear blue waters with visibility up to 20 metres. During this course, you will learn the basics in a theory class, complete three pool dives up to 10 metres deep and 4 open water dives at a depth of 18 meters. Even while you are learning you will be able to enjoy Kenting's colourful corals and vivid marine life such as stony and soft coral species, variety of reef fishes. If you are lucky you might even see clownfish, angelfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish, knifefish, hiding eels (no threat), urchins and the best of all, seahorses!!

What You'll Do
Day 1: Kenting
Today you will have theory class and confined water session in the swimming pool.
- 09.00 AM: Brief class discussion and head to the swimming pool (Kenting Xiaowan Swimming Pool).
- 10.00 AM: Learn to prepare the gear and practice basic diving skills at the depth of 1.2-metre, later continue to 5-metre depth, then to 10-metre depth.
- 4 or 5 PM: Finish the practice and rest.
Day 2: Kenting
Today you will go for 2 open water dive sessions
- 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM: Head to the boat and go for 2 open water session with 1-hour surface interval
- 02.30 PM to 05.00 PM: Take theory class, indoor discussion on changes in physical phenomena, diving physiology, diving equipment, use of the recreational diving planner (RDP) and computer watch.

you won’t be able to cancel after you book.
In the Event of a Government Lockdown
If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
you may get a full refund via Seek Sophie credits or reschedule at no additional costs.
Otherwise, we would do our best to help you reschedule in other cases.
