Details
At Kinabatangan river you will have activities such as morning, afternoon and night cruises. Each session will last for one (1) hour 30 minutes to two (2) hours following to the peak time when the wildlife is active.Activities such as night cruise focus on the nocturnal wildlife mostly reptiles and birds.Both morning and afternoon cruises focus on birds (Hornbill, Eagle, Kingfisher etc.) primates (Orang Utan, Red Leaf Langur, Bornean Gibbons, Proboscis Monkey and Macaque) and also specific diurnal wildlife (Pygmy Elephant, Mouse deer etc.)

Day 1: Kota Kinabalu/Kinabalu Park – Kota Kinabatangan Town – Kinabatangan River
Afternoon and Night Cruise
- 0700 hrs - If you are travelling from Kota Kinabalu take a long-distance bus from Inanam Bus Terminal either to Lahad Datu, Semporna, Kunak or Tawau and get off at Kota Kinabatangan town to meet our representative at Medan Selera restaurant at 1400 hrs.
- 0900 hrs - If you are travelling from Kinabalu Park take either to Lahad Datu, Semporna, Kunak or Tawau and get off at Kota Kinabatangan town to meet our representative at Medan Selera restaurant at 1400 hrs.
- 1400 hrs - Drive from Kota Kinabatangan town another 1 hour 30 minutes to Kinabatangan river. Check in at the cabin (twin or double bed attached bathroom with toilet) by the river.
- 1600 hrs - Afternoon cruise for 1 hour 30 minutes. Dinner.
- 1930 hrs - Night cruise for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- 2100 hrs - Back to the chalet and rest/free at leisure.
Day 2: Kinabatangan River
Morning to Night Cruises at Kinabatangan River
- 0600 hrs - Embark on a 2 hours morning cruise.
- 0800 hrs - Breakfast.
- 0930 hrs - Put on your trekking shoes and explore the beautiful riverine jungle for 2 hours. Lunch.
- 1600 hrs - Afternoon cruise for 1 hour 30 minutes. Dinner.
- 1930 hrs - Night cruise for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- 2100 hrs - Back to the chalet and rest/free at leisure.

Hello, we wanted to go in September. What time would the pick-up at the airport be? We ask so that we can organize the trip and thus know if we can go the same day or if we should arrive the day before starting the excursion. Regards
