Day 1: Surabaya - Cemoro Lawang
You will be transferred to Bromo village, Evening you may explore the village.
Accommodation: Cafe Lava (or Similar Standard) - Superior Double Room (Private)
- 09:00-17:00 – Pick up at Surabaya (Hotel, Train Station or Airport) to Cemoro Lawang (Bromo area) in 4 hours. transport by private car. Check-in Bromo Hotel. free time (enjoy the Bromo village)
Day 2: Bromo Sunrise - Ijen
You will witness beautiful sunrise in Bromo!
Accommodation: Ijen View - Double Room (Private)
- 03:00-03:50 – Get ready in the hotel reception or restaurant room and start the Bromo tour by using 4WD jeep head to the sunrise viewpoint
- 03:50-06:00 – Enjoy the view of the beautiful sunrise
- 06:00-07:00 – Back to the 4WD jeep and visit the sea of sand and take a picture with the exotic 4WD jeep
- 07:00-07:30 – Go to the crater of Bromo by walk or ride a horse
- 07:30-08:30 – Enjoy the view of fogging volcano and view from the top of the crater
- 08:00-08:30 – Back to the 4WD jeep parking area
- 9:00 – Back to hotel for breakfast, shower and rest for a while
- 10:00 – Check-out, head to Bondowoso/Banyuwangi Hotel (Ijen area).
- 12:00 – Stopover for lunch (if needed). Check-in hotel in Bondowoso/ Banyuwangi
Day 3: Ijen - Surabaya
Today you'll hike to the top Blue fame Ijen
- 00:00 – Get ready in the hotel reception or restaurant room and start the Ijen trekking tour.
- 00:00-01:30 – Go to Paltuding (Ijen parking area).
- 01:30-04:00 – Meet Ijen local guide, trekking for 2 hours to reach the Ijen crater and see the beautiful blue fire.
- 04:00-06:00 – Enjoy the amazing Ijen blue fire and the green lake view.
- 06:00 – Back to the Ijen parking area.
- 07:30 – Arrive parking area. Head to drop-off point Surabaya (Hotel, Train Station or Airport) /Ketapang port (Banyuwangi).

Awesome tour to Bromo and Ijen
We just did a 3 days private tour with Bromo explorer, and we really enjoyed it. We started in Surabaya, spent the night near Bromo, visited the volcano site with 4x4 (sunrise from the view point, then drive until volcano), then transport to Bondowoso where we spent the night (until 12am), transport to Kawa Ijen (2 hours driving), and then trekking to the crater. There, we were helped by a guide- who spoke English, and really knew the mountain. We saw few blue fire, but the sunrise and then the view on the lake were awesome.
The organization of the whole trip was great, good car, high quality of hotels and restaurants where we went, very good driver speaking good English, kind, professional and making his best to make sure we spend a nice time. I totally recommend the agency, and the great service has been provided at a competitive price compared to other agencies.
All that was done in a last minute organization from our side (we contacted the agency the day before starting the tour), so I also want to highlight their good reactivity!

Feels Like A Road Trip
We had a lot fun with Oki, who was very friendly and nice. I will recommend Oki (actually have recommented) to all my friends if they want to do the bromo-ijen trip for three reasons:
1) Oki speaks perfect English and is a good talker. We talked so much about our own experience and cultural differences, etc.
2) He is very considerate and treat us more like friends than like customers only.
3) He has good taste in music, which makes the tour a fantastic road trip.
And I think Bromo and Ijen are one of the must-sees in life time.
