What You'll Do

Day 1: Sebayur Kecil - Sebayur Besar - Bidadari
Sebayur Kecil - Sebayur Besar - Bidadari

Castle Rock - Crystal Rock - Shot Gun - Gili Lawa Darat

Today you'll get to dive at some of the more challenging dive sites, and probably experience drifting as well.

  • 8am: Depart from Bidadari
  • 9:30am: Dive 1 - Castle Rock. Also known as the 'Hard to Find Rock' as its pinnacles are completely submerged. Currents here are strong, but that increases your chances of spotting reef sharks! You'll also get to see turtles, napoleon wrasse, schools of sailfin snappers and batfish.
  • 10:30am: Interval
  • 11:30am: Dive 2 - Crystal Rock. Unlike Castle Rock, Crystal Rock breaks the surface of the water at low tide. Crystal Rock is especially suited for macro enthusiasts - spot pygmy seahorses in the sea fans; leaf fish and crocodile fish in the rocks; or even lady bug amphipods in the soft corals.
  • 12:30pm: Lunch
  • 2pm: Dive 3 - Shot Gun. Here, a small gap between two islands causes a fast flow of water, which will shoot you out at the end of the dive! The sloping hard coral reef is beautiful and teeming with fish. Manta Rays also live in the white sand at the edge of the reef.
  • 3pm: Interval
  • 4pm: Dive 4 - Gili Lawa Darat. Gili Lawa Darat is beautiful for hiking, but also an amazing dive site. with large schools of fish.

  • 4:30pm: Interval
  • 5:30pm: Dive 4 - Torpedo. The black sand of Torpedo Alley provides an excellent creature hunt to find some of rarest critters in the world. Rhinopias have been seen here. As well as coconut octopus, frogfish, bobbit worms, nudibranchs, … the list goes on and on!
