Itinerary

This is a sample itinerary and may be weather-dependent. Start/end times may depend on transport chosen.
Day 1: Labuan Bajo - Sabolon Island - Sebayor Island
Labuan Bajo - Sabolon Island - Sebayor Island

Today you will snorkel at Sabolon and Sebayor Island.

Accommodation: Kapal Teman - Double Room

  • 01:00pm - Pick-up at Labuan Bajo
  • Guests will be picked up at their hotels or the airport before 13:00.
  • Transfer to the boat. Welcome drink and boat briefing. Set up your snorkel gears and start the journey to Sabolon Island. You will snorkel at the same sites or close by, as the divers are diving. Feel free to chat with the cruise director to make a snorkel plan together.
  • SABOLON KECIL: Wall with a slope and a sandy bottom (20 to 25 meters). The reef is very sane and here is a perfect place to snorkel. For the most confirmed divers, a seamount away from the reef offers huge sea fans hosting some pygmy seahorses. Barracudas are often spotted there.
  • SABAYOR: Starting on a sandy slope leading to a wall, the marine life here is abundant: leaf fish, groupers, surgeonfish, and jackfish. Anchor the boat in Gili Lawa Darat for the night.
Day 2: North Komodo
North Komodo

Today you will check off your list of must-visit underwater sites in Komodo National Park.

Accommodation: Kapal Teman - Double Room

  • You will visit CRYSTAL ROCK: A must! This seamount located in the North of Gili Lawa Laut is famous worldwide for an incredible underwater activity. Depending on the snorkeler's ability; one can discover its sumptuous topography and the diversity of the coral.
  • Wrap up the day with a short trek to a great panorama on top of Gili Lawa Darat.
Day 3: Banta
Banta

Today you will explore the less-common island in Banta, wrap up the day with an amazing sunset overlooking Sangeang, an active volcano.

Accommodation: Kapal Teman - Double Room

  • HIGH VOLTAGE: A famous site as well. A must for snorkelers searching for sensations. The snorkeling here is always a treat with reefs that boast great examples of corals that are exposed to heavy wave action.
  • TANJUNG RASA: A cleaning station for the manta rays! This slope also hosts orangutan crabs, pygmy seahorses, and nudibranchs.
  • Spend the night in the bay: trekking on the wild hills until you reach the highest part of it and enjoy an amazing sunset on Sangeang volcano.
Day 4: West and North Komodo
West and North Komodo

Today you will see the amazing topography in Cauldron and Tanjung Batumonco. Each has varied marine life!

Accommodation: Kapal Teman - Double Room

  • TANJUNG BATUMONCO: North West Komodo, this site is still quite unknown and offers a fantastic drift! Today you will snorkel sat Tatawa and Siaba

Accommodation: Kapal Teman - Double Room

  • TATAWA BESAR: A classic drift
  • TATAWA KECIL: This site is best done when there is some current because the whole reef comes alive. Soft corals fill part of the reef, and colourful anthias zip in and out of the corals. Batfish and snappers live next to a large coral head that is full of glassfish.
  • SIABA KECIL: It has amazing hard corals and it's home to green and hawksbill turtles.
