Not a diver but you wish to experience living aboard in the Komodo Archipelago? Liquid Adventures welcome you onboard its environmentally-friendly vessel; Kira- Kira or Akomo Isseki that runs all electrical systems from solar panels to reduce emissions. During these 8 days, you will snorkel, kayak and try wakeboarding (available upon request). You will visit the less-explored Batu Moncong on the boundary of the National Park with epic sunset views of Gunung Api Sangean in the background. This trip also includes a visit to Komodo Island to see the fabled Komodo Dragons. Meals will be a selection of freshly-cooked Indonesian and Western meals, along with the catch of the day, and freshly baked bread plus treats throughout the day. You will be rewarded with their signature beach BBQ on the last night of the trip. Both boats cater to a maximum of 8 passengers in 4 cabins (3 twins, 1 double bed for more comfort), so you can expect a more intimate experience onboard.

Day 1: Labuan Bajo - Sebayur
Today you will do a check snorkel near Sebayur Island.
- 10:00 AM: Start Of The Trip From Labuan Bajo - Upon collection from the Harbourside, the crew and cruise the team welcome you aboard, after a short tour and explanation about the ship and your safety on board the crew will be setting up the snorkel equipment and checking you in to your cabins.
- Kira Kira will set sail at midday in the direction of Sebayur as you enjoy a light lunch together. You will do a check snorkel near Sebayur Kecil before late afternoon beach activities.
- Take a walk on the sands, a swim in the shallows or jump in a Kayak whilst looking forward to a delicious fish supper and the first of many breathtaking sun-scapes.
Day 2: Sebayur - Tatawa - Siaba
Today you will snorkel in Tatawa, kayak and relax on the beach.
- After a light breakfast, you will do two dives/snorkels around the small Islands that make up the Komodo World Heritage Site, explore beauties such as Tatawa Besar, Tatawa Kecil and neighbouring islands if the weather permits. Enjoy lunch, Kayak, relax on the beach.
Day 3: Siaba - Pulau Mauan - Karang Makassar
Today you can expect to see Manta Rays that inhabit the reefs of Karang Makassar
- Start the day with an early morning drift along the shores of Siaba, a rare opportunity to visit the reef before others do, enjoying the myriad of fluorescence left from the night before and the steady arrival of frenzied feeding fish.
- After breakfast and with favourable winds, you will endeavour to hoist the sheets for a short sail past Pulau Mauan, snorkel if the currents permit.
- Thereafter, you await the arrival of the intrepid population of Manta Rays that inhabit the reefs of Karang Makassar.
- Snorkel with the most graceful creatures the park has to offer before the boat set sail South of Komodo.
Day 4: Komodo Island - Loh Niang/ Loh Namu/ Batu Tiga
Today you will see Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat
- In the early morning, you will visit Komodo National Park, escorted by a local Ranger in search of the fabled beast, the Komodo Dragon, the largest lizard on the planet. This is the only place in the world you can see them in their natural habitat and enjoy the fascinating panorama of the island.
- Lunch
- Followed by two snorkels perhaps exploring the underwater seascapes of Loh Namu and Loh Liang or even the famous Batu Tiga, before anchoring for the night in one of the incredible bays around Padar Island.
- Dinner and drinks under the star-filled sky.
Day 5: Hot Rocks - Batu Bolong - Gili Lawa Darat
Today you will visit Batu Bolong and Gili Lawa Darat to experience the wilderness in Komodo National Park
- Hot Rocks - Enjoy the sunrise over the vast volcanic seascape whilst you await the perfect tide movements to visit Batu Bolong, an incredible rock formation teeming with vibrant colours and life, rated amongst the best Komodo delivers, a snorkel on the North or South of this pinnacle rocks.
- Gili Lawa Darat sets the scene after lunch.
- Visit The Passage, a thrilling drift through the channels of the current born islands or kayak around the Mangroves.
- You could hike the hill in Gili Lawa after completing the water activities.
Day 6: Gili Lawa Darat - Batu Moncong
Expect to sail to the least explored spot on the boundary of the National Park with epic sunset views of Gunung Api Sangean in the background
- Sail towards the distant Batu Moncong. Take a rest from snorkelling as Batu Moncong is made up of deep walls, and exposed seamounts.
- You may enjoy chilling on board.
Day 7: Gili Lawa Laut - Cauldron/ Crystal Rock/ Castle Rock
Today you will explore the underwater Mecca in Komodo with wide species of fishes and corals.
- A three snorkels program will be tailored around the currents that make the waters of Komodo a Mecca for all snorkelling enthusiasts. With over 1000 fish species and 300 different corals underwater.
- You will explore the sites around Gili Lawa Laut, snorkel The Cauldron, Crystal Rock and the world-famous pinnacle Castle Rock.
- Finish the day with incredible tropical sundown, a secluded kayak over the shallow reefs and perhaps a beach BBQ.
Day 8: Komodo National Park - Labuan Bajo
- Enjoy breakfast and a final dive for divers, followed by a slow cruise back to Labuan Bajo, the last exchange of photos and memories.
- The crew and Kira Kira will say their fond farewells and escort you to the Harbourside for drop off.
- Expected harbour arrival time: 3 PM

Hand-crafted over 2 years, the boats were built with stability, comfort and safety in mind. Able to travel up to 1000 nautical miles, they are highly economic and were built environmentally conscious, running all electrical systems from solar panels in order to reduce emissions and operational noise; so you can truly capture the sounds of the ever resonating jungle and shore lapping seas at night. Both boats are crewed by the Bugis sailors, from Bira in South Sulawesi; who are known for life at the sea under sail. Kira Kira and Akomo cater to a maximum of 8 passengers in 4 cabins, offering more bespoke dives and services onboard.
