We decided to take the safari jeep tour through the park, to be honest the most you will see is elephants.
We had a guide who decided to join us, and of course is a ‘volunteer’ so guess what doesn’t get paid so end up having to give him a Tip!
He pointed out birds and lizards but to be honest I wasn’t really interested in them.
You mainly see elephants and that’s about it, which if you walk down the road you can see them anyway for free.

Due to a very good recommendation reading in tripadvisor we found Lahiru and contacted him under Whats App +94762726799. Very simple, very easy.
He organized our pick up in Ella and afterwards we did the Safari. To be honest, it was perfect. We have seen all animals. Lahiru is a perfect Guide. It was so much fun with him.
It was just perfect and a it’s a 100% recommendation. Also Lahiru organized as well our transport to our next accommodation.
All that for a more than fair price.

We had an amazing time with Deshan! He is a very good driver and the Jeep is comfortable. He is also very knowledgeable about the Udawalawa park and will make you see lots of different species. He provided binoculars, which is very useful. Deshan extended to tour by c. 30min to make sure we could see as much as possible. We definitely recommend him!

you won’t be able to cancel after you book.

If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
