The classic beauty of The Seahorse Liveaboard combines traditional craftsmanship with modern conveniences and safety features providing charming comfort in the remotest waters of Indonesia. The Seahorse is a luxury and spacious vessel built by divers. She accommodates 16 guests in 5 twin and 3 double bed cabins, attended by 12 crew and 4 Dive Masters. All the spacious cabins have individually controlled air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms with hot water. Other amenities: a spacious dive deck, dedicated indoor camera station, massage on board, complimentary kayaks and paddleboard. Delicious family-style Western-Indonesian meals and snacks will be served on board. This trip brings you to North of the National Park; boasting a rich combination of hard and soft corals, predators fishes, even more macro (and manta rays too!). Expect a minimum of 22 day & night dives in the itinerary. Free Nitrox is available on all trips. The minimum dive level required to join the cruise is PADI Advanced Open Water or CMAS level 2, with a minimum of 50 dives at sea. However, divers with a lower level will be able to participate, but with specific coaching at additional cost.

Day 1: Labuan Bajo - Komodo National Park
Labuan Bajo - Komodo National Park

You'll head from Labuan Bajo and do your first dive in Komodo National Park

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • 01:00pm - Pick-up at Flores
  • Safety Briefing, Crew Introduction, Necessary Dive Paperwork, Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing the Harbour. During the journey to the first dive site for a check dive, please take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel and make yourself comfortable.
  • Check dive in Komodo National Park
Day 2: North Komodo
North Komodo

Today you will complete 3 macro dives in the most Northern Part of the park.

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • Enjoy 3 Macro dives in the most Northern part of the park
  • Dive Castle rock, Cauldron, two highlights action dives of the park. Made of rocks with prolific fish life.
  • End of the day ascending a hilltop to admire the sunset and the magnificence of Komodo National Park.
Day 3: North Komodo
North Komodo

Today you will dive at Batu Bolong, Tatawa Besar, Tatawa Kecil and Siaba.

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • You will do 4 dives today.
  • You are now in the north area with clear and warm waters. The dive choice depends here greatly of the tides, as some of them must imperatively be dived at a certain stage of the tide. Sites offered are Batu bolong (a rock with dramatic seascape, huge boulders, and prolific fish life including reef sharks, napoleon wrasses, giant trevallies, etc) , Batu Mandi, Tatawa Besar ( a drift with the best soft corals of the park) , Tatawa Kecil, Siaba.
Day 4: North Komodo
North Komodo

Today you will dive around Padar Island and have a short visit to Pantai Merah (Pink Beach)

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • Today you will do 4 dives.
  • Visit North to the Island of Padar, according to the tide and eventual swell, dives will be 3 sisters (complexes of 3 pinnacles, rich in critters and fish life), Pilarsteen and Pantai Merah.
  • A night dive will be offered.
Day 5: South Rinca
South Rinca

Dive in the famous Cannibal rock, Yellow Wall and Torpedo

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • Today you will do 4 dives.
  • At dawn, cross the channel between Komodo and Rinca. The first dive in South Rinca is the famous cannibal rock, a great abundance of critters (frogfish, Coleman shrimps and zebra crabs on fire urchins, rare nudibranchs, leaf fishes, sea apples), on a reef well covered with soft corals. A phillodesmium in cannibal rock 2nd dive on Yellow wall, with its incredible colors of soft corals, Feather stars, green and yellow tubastrea corals. Afternoon dive and night dive on Torpedo, an interesting muck dive site. Water is generally cold, 22 to 24 °C. If you're lucky, you can see the Komodos dragons on the beach in this area.
Day 6: West Komodo
West Komodo

Today you will dive in Manta Alley, known as Manta Rays cleaning station.

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • Morning dive on the West of Komodo.
  • After breakfast, go further south where you will dive Manta Alley, a famous dive site for its Manta cleaning station. The water is cooler in this area and can be as low as 22 °C. 2 dives in Manta alley.
  • Night dive on the coast.
Day 7: Banta Island
Banta Island

Today you will spend the day diving around Banta Island

Accommodation: MSY Seahorse - Double Cabin

  • One morning dive in Banta Island (Tanjung Rusa or GPS point), then the two following dives. You can expect to see pelagic and schools of barracudas. If you’re lucky enough, hammerhead and grey reef sharks are sometimes seen there. Nudibranchs and turtles are usually joining the show as well. You can also see the volcanic island of Sangeang from Banta, which rises from the beautiful blue sea.
  • Night dive on the west coast of Komodo island. Anchorage in the magnificent bay of Loh Srikaya
Day 8: Komodo National Park

Today will be your last chance to explore the underwater world of Komodo!

  • 2 dives in the morning depending on guest flight schedules and the 24-hour requirement before flying.
Day 9: Labuan Bajo
Labuan Bajo

Today you'll head back to Labuan Bajo

  • Bid goodbye to your hosts as you will be sent back to Labuan Bajo's airport for departure.
  • 01:00pm - Drop-off at Flores

As Wallacea Dive Cruise pays for your trip’s logistics in advance, you can only cancel for free within 24 hours of your booking, provided that this is at least 2 weeks before your trip starts.
