New Covid-19 GuidelinesThe maximum capacity of this workshop is 8 pax and participants will be separated into groups of 2 or 4 with no intermingling in between.Vaccination or PET (Pre Event Test) is not needed This is a beginner-friendly option for baking sourdough bread and focaccia. You will also learn to create your own sourdough starter, which is super useful for your entire sourdough-making journey.Despite the immediate impression you may get from its name, sourdough bread is naturally fermented using wild yeast. It is chemical-free and vegan-friendly, not to mention healthy and delicious at the same time 😋What You'll learnLearn everything about Sourdough Starter – creation, maintenance, preservation.Folding techniques that will help you create beautiful bread even as a beginner. Different set-ups of baking Sourdough and understand what to expect when you bake at home.Enjoy freshly baked long-fermented sourdough during the tea break. Learn to judge fermentation progress by the look and feel of the dough and understand when it is ready for the next step.Recipes for 3 bread: Sourdough Artisan Loaf, Sandwich loaf and Focaccia.After WorkshopBring your shaped dough back home and bake it the next day in your home oven. (this is a part of the long-fermentation method)Take home a mature and vigorous sourdough starter to kick start your baking journey.4 weeks of post-workshop support via Telegram group chat. Complete guidance to practise and improve your skills!1-hour live online session “How to create a Sourdough Starter” comes free with your booking. The teacher conducts one weekday and one-weekend session (3 pm to 4 pm) every month on this topic. You can choose a date to attend online after your in-person sourdough workshop.Important Notes The workshop fee is non-refundable. Under unavoidable circumstances, you may be allowed to postpone.Confidentiality document to be signed by the participant. You agree to keep all course-related content confidential and strictly for personal use. You will not share it on any social media platform or forward it to others. You are allowed to share your bake pictures and even sell your bakes.Please bring your own bowl/banneton (18cm top diameter) or sandwich loaf tin (medium) to carry the shaped dough along. You will be baking this at home the next day as per guidance from the teacher.Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop.

I was looking for some nice gluten free bread desperately as I didn’t like any available in the market.I came across with Kavita’s sourdough class 1 day on Fb and did gluten free sourdough class with her.Her recipes are not only healthy but tasty too.She is a genius.After the class I got so passionated about sourdough baking that I started to bake twice a week and she was always supportive and helping with my queries.She is a very patient teacher who is always ready to help her students without any hesitations.I would definitely highly recommended people to attend her classes.

I have attended the sourdough class.
It was amazing! The trainer is very professional and has shared with us her baking experience. It is very different from the other course i attended.

For me definitely the best sourdough class and teacher. Loves how Kavita manages to provide intensive sourdough starter, method and baking science and info into bite size. Hands on during class and 4 weeks of holding your baking hands aft class is most definitely helpful in ironing out kinks and hiccups in your bakes. I fully used each week to experiment with different hydration and types of loaves and bakes. Kavita has constantly encourages and answers questions/query abt starter condition and how to better improve your bakes. Attended her zoom session on how to make your own starter and after weeks of baking, I was able to appreciate the session of how to make your own starter better. What is even more great is that Kavita has different modules of sourdough bread coming up. Such as baguette and Ciabatta. So you will be able to constantly learn and upgrade your knowledge and learn to bake something new. Love, Love, Love! Thanks Kavita! Nadia

A very informative session that allows you to put to practice what has been taught! Whats more, you get enjoy your bakes there and then.
One feels pumped enough to put on their aprons and wow their families with their newly learnt skills!!
