Learn about Singapore's past through local craftsman who have interesting stories to share!

  • Start off with a visit to a coffee roasting factory, where you will learn about the local kopi industry, the tricks of the trade, roasting techniques, and have a sampling of kopi 'O' or black coffee.
  • Then, meet the craftsman of a snack many locals don't even know about — sachima, and the makers of the beloved pig ear's biscuit and cuttlefish snack!
  • Next up: one of the oldest remaining traditional bakeries left in Singapore. Hear from the baker himself why this once thriving business is now a disappearing trade.
  • Lastly, meet the masters of paper houses making and learn how the Chinese pray and pay their respects to their ancestors by burning paper objects as a form of offering to the afterlife.

Chinatown Murder Mystery Tour - It's not a race against the clock to solve the murder because you have more than your own group of friends ie strangers joining you on the tour; you kinda end up waiting for one another to be able to move on to the next 'station' although you or they have already solved the puzzle for a particular station. Character role play was weak towards the end. Game wasn't very challenging either. We basically didn't feel engaged. For $50 a pop, 1.5hrs, we are unlikely to do it again but it was pretty fun if you want a simple stroll around Chinatown.
