This is a 2.5-hour guided exploration of the mangrove forest in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Discover the bizarre world of the mangroves - A forest growing in the sea, crabs climbing up trees and fishes living on land!Option DetailsLife in the mangroves is influenced by the rhythm of the tides. This walk introduces you to the mangrove ecosystem and provides insights into the various adaptations plants and animals have developed to eke out a living in this rather harsh environment. You will have an opportunity to observe typical denizens of the mangroves, such as tree-climbing crabs, mudskippers or monitor lizards close up. With a bit of luck, you may also spot one of the resident crocodiles there!Important NoteRecommended age: 6 years and above. There is no minimum age requirement and it is up to the parents' good judgement whether the activity is suitable for their children.This event is an outdoor activity subject to the whims of the elements. It may have to be shortened, delayed or aborted for safety reasons in case of inclement weather. No refund will be given in this case.

I was lucky to be 1on1 with the guide on Pulau Ubin bike experience, so it allowed for a very i dividualised approach. Robert is a very knowledgeable guide, warm and friendly personality and what’s most important - passionate on what he does. I recommend this experiwnce highly for people loving nature!

We had a great time on our walk at Sungei Buloh wetland reserve . Our guide Robert is a treasure trove of knowledge and through his expertise we were able to see huge crocodiles , migratory birds , mudskippers , monitor lizards and other animals . He also taught us about the mangroves and the role they play in conservation . Our 7 year old son thoroughly enjoyed watching the wildlife through his telescope . Robert is very passionate about nature and his many of years of experience is evident as he can point our various secrets of the mangroves that you would otherwise miss so highly recommend going with ahem ! We also encountered a huge crocodile on the trail and Robert showed us how to watch is safely . Overall, this is a hidden gem in Singapore where you can see the eco system thrive . Great walk and we will definitely do more with Robert ! Please support his walks ! Thanks Robert .

Robert of Ulu Singapore was very patient and knowledgeable. He pointed out many things in the reserve that we would have missed and he also shared many insight not just the wild life that we saw, but also the mangrove. With Ulu Singapore, we saw a huge variety of wild life including the giant mudskippers (trip highlight), birds (e.g. grey heron, stock), crabs, a snake, bats, and of course, the crocodiles. He set the tone for his tour by showing us how the weaver ants (commonly known as the fire ants or "karipok" ants" made their nest in a leaf of a bird nest fern. you won’t be able to cancel after you book.
Wet Weather Policy
This event is an outdoor activity subject to the whims of the elements. It may have to be shortened, delayed or aborted for safety reasons in case of inclement weather. No refund will be given in the even of inclement weather.
Extenuating Circumstances Policy
In the event that one or more participants are tested positive (or suspected) for Covid-19, they are required to present verification from the MOH at 6 pm the day before the trip, and customers can choose to reschedule the booking with no additional fee.
In the Event of a Government Lockdown
If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
you may get a full refund via Seek Sophie credits or reschedule at no additional costs.
Otherwise, we would do our best to help you reschedule in other cases.
