We have spent 3 days on a trekking in the south of Sa Pa and decided to add one more night in this Eco-Home. That was the perfect choice, just a shame we could not enjoy the view as it was foggy that day. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place, very relaxing, the people are friendly and very welcoming, the bungalow is spacious with a nice terrace overlooking the rice fields, very clean and the food was delicious. We highly recommend it.

It’s right decision to select this place for our stay. Only 7 villas in this property, clean, quiet and stunning view in front of our room. (Bamboo room) Staff here has excellent service, very friendly and polite. We had a wonderful dinner under the moon. That’s great.😘

We traveled to Sapa Eco-Home as a family of four. Me, my wife, daughter and grandson. We were greeted by the owner Maria. The main house is nicely decorated and very quaint. Perfect if you are looking for a more authentic experience. The small cottages are nestled into the hillside with balconies overlooking the valley. The views are breathtaking. Whenever we needed anything, Maria and her staff were very attentive. It's worthwhile to let her arrange for your trek if your interested in exploring the surrounding villages. Talk to Maria about her work with the Hmong, the local tribe. She and her partner Joseph are helping to educate the indigenous people and preserve their heritage by teaching them English and helping them advance their skills and learn other important ones. We can't wait to go back. I can't think of a better, natural experience.

We came here as part of our honeymoon. We loved everything about this place. The view - stunning, you can spend hours taking photos and you still can't get enough. We knew the location was going to be a bit tricky, because it wasn't walking distance to Sapa town, but it was worth it because why would you come to Sapa and stay at a hotel without a view of the beautiful mountains? :) We booked our taxis in advance to help. Sapa Eco Home provides private car from train station for $35 each way. Honestly, you don't even need to go to Sapa town - you can book a hike/tour through Sapa Eco Home. The tour guide will come get you from there. Next time I come to Sapa, I will stay here again, without a doubt. The staff (most of which were family to the owners) were so sweet, even though their English was limited. They let us hang out and made us food and tea while we waited for our room to be ready. The food and drinks they served were delicious and yet seemed so simple... must be the fresh ingredients. They had a little shop inside the restaurant/lobby area. Most of the things sold there were made by one of the Hmong owner's mother. Beautifully textiles for you to take home as souvenirs. I cherish all of the things I bought from Sapa. Our room (the corn house), was one of the bungalows. It was so perfect! I love the decorations they put in the room. It was unique and made me feel like I was in Sapa, which I appreciated. I didn't want to stay in a place with no character! We had our window curtains open a bit so that we could wake up to the sight of the beautiful hills. The bathroom was nice and clean. It had soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc, everything you expect from a regular hotel. Maria, who speaks English fluently, is one of the owners and main contact person, is so sweet and friendly. I love that she cares about the children in the community and you can just tell she has a kind and calm soul. She invited us to have dinner with her and the family... we were so touched and honored by this gesture! I can say, it made our stay all the more special. We also met another owner, Ai, who was Hmong. I spoke Hmong with him and got to know the story behind Sapa Eco Home. He's one of the initiators behind Sapa Eco Home. His story is amazing and makes me even more happy I chose to stay here. Later, he toured my husband and I around his home town and invited us to a local wedding. It was beautiful and I left a part of my heart in Sapa because of the kindness of the people.
