HI, I'M JOETTE, the founder and macrame maker of KNOETTE. I reside in urban Singapore, where the pace is quicker than what I can handle. I needed a slower-pace of living, and that's when I found Macramé. It made its way to my heart, slowed down life and has been a therapeutic source to my soul. The beauty of the craft has created calmness and creativity to take place in my life. I hope to share macramé's natural beauty of it's raw nature, that exudes warmth and relaxation with people and their homes. I also aspire to share the craft with others who want to get in touch with their creative nature through fibre and who want to experience the therapeutic effects of it. I do both pre-made pieces and custom-made pieces. My favourites are often custom-made pieces which carry a more personal touch for the customer.
