Itinerary: Tuft your own fluffy ceramic vases
Get creative and create beautiful personalise homeware
- 1. Get inspired! Save a few reference images on your phone prior to the workshop.
- 2. Trace the vase stencil, and your design using our projectors, or freehand with the
- instructors’ assistance.
- 3. Go through a detailed tutorial and worksheet with our experienced instructors on gun
- operations, understanding the cloth and yarn, best practices and safety guidelines.
- 4. Start tufting! Our instructors will be there with you all of the way, giving you tips and tricks
- to ensure your rug turns out thick and wraps around the vase nicely!
- 5. Vases will be delivered to you in ~3 weeks!

Location is in an industrial area but had parking on site. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were left alone to do the tufting which made it comfortable to hang out. They also gave me a phone stand to take videos through out the whole session which was really nice so I have nice memories of the session :)

I enjoyed the experience which is something different to do with my HB where we were able to create our own personalized work.
However, the location was not very ideal as we were not able to find till driving a few rounds later. Also the instructor was rather young and did not manage to share more knowledge besides what was required for the task on hand.

Ruth was extremely patient and kind when teaching my dad and I how to use the tufting gun, which I really appreciate! I will say though, that communication with the studio on the day itself was a bit lacking due to them being understaffed (Ruth had to take care of 3 pairs of people at the same time). There was an issue with the elevator that left us stranded downstairs for about 20 minutes, causing our session to start late. It was difficult to find a phone number to call, and only after quite a few calls and emails did the studio finally pick up. I think in the future if such issues occur, the studio should try their best to communicate any issues in a timely manner so as to set people’s expectations. Other than this, we had a great experience!

Cancellation Policy
Cancel for free 7 days before your trip starts.
Cancellations after such date will not be eligible for refunds as Studio An would have paid for your trip’s logistics already.
Reschedule Policy
Reschedule only 2 working days before scheduled activity date / time
Reschedule less than 2 working days before scheduled activity will be subject to a rescheduling fee

In the Event of a Government Lockdown
If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
you may get a full refund via Seek Sophie credits or reschedule at no additional costs.
Otherwise, we would do our best to help you reschedule in other cases.
