On the way back, you will enjoy a serene boat ride across Lake Batur. Finally, before you return to your hotel you will head to Kanto Lampo waterfall for a refreshing soak.What to Expect Pick up from hotel You will be picked up from your hotel in Ubud or South Bali. You will arrive at the start of your trek at around 4am.The Ascent It will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour to get to the top. The terrain is a fairly mild upward gradient surrounded by jungle vegetation. Once you reach the summit you can settle in for the sunrise which is between 5.30-6am. The Sunrise From the summit you will witness one of the most beautiful sunrise views as the sun emerges illuminating the four surrounding volcanic mountains – Mt Agung, Mt Abang, Mt Rinjani and Mt Batur. As the clouds clear you will also be able to see the the ocean, Lake Batur and the greenery of the villages surrounding Mt Batur. While you enjoy the views your guide will also prepare you a lite breakfast.The Descent You will make your way down to the lake. Once you arrive at the shore of the lake, a boat will be waiting for you. It will take about 20-30min to cross while you enjoy the early morning calm of the water.Kanto Lampo Waterfall Afterwards you will head to Kanto Lampo waterfall, which is not too far from Ubud and is quite easy to get to unlike many of the other waterfalls in Bali. This is a fairly new waterfall in Bali and the source of the water is from a recently created dam. Once you've soaked in the views, you will be taken back to your hotel.
