First the good bits - ki our guide was great and did well herding a large, diverse group. He also changed up the tour order so when we got to the large cave we were on our own. The cave was impressive, especially when quiet! Kayaking was fun once we were in the boat. Beach swim was ok once you got into deeper water - take money if you want a sun lounger. Less great bits: bus seats are small and uncomfortable so the 3+hr bus trip either way gets uncomfortable. Food on the boat was really bland compared to all the great Vietnamese food we’d had. Not much upstairs seating if a full boat load so end up standing for most of the cruise. Chaos getting through the arrivals hall with thousands of ppl all trying to do the same thing. Boat drivers are ridiculously aggressive getting boats in and out of docks- definitely stay inside and hold on to something as you get bumped about a lot. Getting in and out of kayaks is a cluster f@&k, get to the end of the jetty, grab gear and get in early before the que/scrum starts. Overall it’s a beautiful area but ruined by too many tourists and I wouldn’t rush back to do a longer trip.

Good services, friendly tour guide. Today I had good tour with Daily VietNam Tour. Tour guide - Hung was friendly. He met me by friendly smile. He had great knowledge about destinations tourism. Seafood was really delicious and fresh. Ha Long Bay is very beautiful and amazing about limestone systems. I will come back soon. I will recommend with my friends. Thank you for relaxing time.
