Details
This 2.5 to 3 hours tour gives you a chance to see birds and many smaller animals in the park. If you are lucky you will even have a chance to see elephants as they graze on the grasses growing on the tank bed. The chance of seeing elephants during the morning safari is less than during the afternoon/evening.

Had a wonderful safari and my kids were enjoyed a lot. Driver is very good. Price was very low compared to others. We had a good jeep and saw many elephants. Thanks to Fernando.

the price was very expensive when comparing to the official rates around. the driver was good and the jeeps are not suitable to run in the jungle. they are very old

We went on a 2-day trip with Fernando a couple of weeks ago. Even though we did not went on a safari, we saw a lot of elephants because Fernando exactly knew the places where to see them. We started our trip in Kandy. Fernando showed us the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and he knew good places to eat and rest. His english is very good and he can tell you a lot about Sri Lanka. He is a very good guy and also really busy with volunteering and helping the poor people in the country.
We would definitely recommend going on a trip with Fernando. He respects your wishes and does not push you to go to places you don't want to. It is all up to what you want to visit and he helps to make your trip perfect. We had a lot of fun as well during our trip. After two days we needed a transfer to our next hotel and we didn't know that in advance. He did everything to help us and arranged a car, so he could bring us to the next hotel. We could not wish for a better guide! Besides going on adventure with Fernando, he can also arrange other trips!

Arrived at the start very early 0630 in order to catch the animals as they awake for the day. It is no understatement to say you are privilege to see wild animals in their natural environment and boy were we NOT disappointed. The driver obviously knows the area of the park well and after some 20 or so minutes we began to see elephants first just a few then boy did we strike gold with herds of 10 to 14. Yes you do get up close and personal and as a bonus you also see wild peacocks eagles and many birds some as tiny as a thimble. A great experience for both old and young.

we started at 5.30 am and visited to the jungle saw many animal except elephants & received good persons.

If there is a government lockdown that prevent you from going on your trip,
you may get a full refund via Seek Sophie credits or reschedule at no additional costs.
