Situated at the heart of Mekong Delta, Coco Riverside Lodge aims to provide both a comfortable and homely stay while also providing a comprehensive Mekong Delta tour package. This option includes 1-night stay at a twin or double room (with private veranda) at the lodge, a cycling trip to the dragonfruit plantation on day 1, and a boat ride to a local market and coconut factory along Mekong Delta River.
This is one of the few 2D1N packages where you go on 2 separate trips — from eating fresh dragonfruit and exploring the local market, to observing how rugs are made from coconut leaves, you will gain lots of cultural experiences! Coco Riverside Lodge also has an amazing sunset view overlooking the river and garden.
Apart from the tour, you can also take part in a traditional Vietnamese pancake-making class or learn to weave "poon" sticks using coconut leaves under the guidance of the staff.

Today you will enjoy a sunset bicycle ride
- 14:15 Upon arrival, check in and settle in to your room
- 15:30 Select bicycles for a cycling tour in the afternoon on quiet village roads passing by a duck farm, green rice paddies, sedge field and small villages. Along the way, you will visit one of the many dragon fruit plantations and taste it directly at the garden. This is a relaxing time with plenty of chances to capture the picturesque Asian sun set scenes. Enjoy the beautiful sunset before returning to the lodge on your bicycles.
- 17:30 After freshening up, you will start to walk to a neighboring home with "poon" lights where you will enjoy a traditional musical performance by war veteran artist.
- 18:30 You are the chef - during a traditional cooking class with Vietnamese pancake making. A great learning experience that means you can introduce some Vietnamese cooking into your own kitchen back home.
- 19:30 Dinner is served at lodge's restaurant

Today you will get to visit a coconut processing factory!
- 8:00 Breakfast
- 9:00 After breakfast, you will jump onto a boat and head to the local market where locals are selling all sorts of goods. Along the way you will also get to see the beautiful Cao Dai temple. You will also have a chance to see a coconut factory. Situated alongside the river, these are small coconut-processing operations. Once the coconut has been shelled, the coconut fibers are removed from the husk to make rope, which in turn is used to weave rugs. You can watch the whole manufacturing process in a short period of time. Most of the work is done by hand at very low cost. The buyers are mostly foreign companies.
- 11:30 Return to Coconut RiverSide Lodge, if there is still time left you can harvest some water coconut leaves and weave them into "poon" sticks at the guidance of the staff.
