A woodworking workshop for a beautiful, functional lamp.Recommended age:16 and above. All our workshops begin with a safety briefing. (Even for returning students) Read more about our safety standards here.8 and above, children 4-7 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.All our workshops begin with a safety briefing.What to expect:During this workshop, design and make your own copper lamp. Learn simple circuitry and the basics of woodworking. The workshop typically includes tools such as saws, drills, as well as raw materials such as copper sheeting and wiring. Participants can design and make their own lamps under the guidance of an instructor, learning the process of shaping the copper to create a functional and decorative lighting piece. The workshop environment can be described as creative and hands-on, with an emphasis on learning new skills and creating a unique, personal piece of art.Woodworking is a wonderful way to develop character. The smell and feel of wood, using real tools, working with a natural material, the sounds of hammering and sawing, hands and minds working together to express their imagination and to solve problems, the use of strength and coordination: all go together to captivate young children’s interest.Additional details: - A short tea break is provided.- Attire: Please wear closed toe shoes to the venue. - Attire: Comfortable, No loose or flowy clothing.- No use of power tools for the safety of the children.- All personal PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided
