I solo traveled the North of Vietnam in May 2019 and one of the highlights of the trip was a night spent at Sapa Eco Home. I had a cottage with the balcony opening to the rice terrace, the view was spectacular! The host was very kind to invite me to join their family dinner and also taught me take make spring rolls :). But the really beauty of this place and the people is the selfless act of supporting the community. They teach English lessons for aspiring men and woman for all walks of life. I had the joy of interacting with farmers and chefs and their stories are truly inspiring! I'd love to back here someday soon!
Our family of 4 adults stay in this lovely retreat for 3 nights. Stopping by the road side the place look ordinary home. Once walk inside we feel peace n charm by the view surround the whole place. From our hut balcony we could see the many layers of working rice terraces n here and there simple homes dotted the hills. Each hut is well equip with air con n heater. We sat at balcony n have peaceful time enjoying the view, read book, wine n tea, even soaking our tire feet in tub! If weather permit we go trekking with local H’mong guide. The bf and meal are tasty, simple n nice, inexpensive. We will stay here again The staffs are very friendly n helpful. We can call for taxi to town for 100K VD. Thanks yo Maria and 小小 who made our stay a wonderful experience. This place run by H’mong people n part of proceed go to help this minority tribe,
This warm and cosy place is located in the middle of rice fields with an amazing dramatic view to the mountains. We come to stay one night and then ended up staying a second one after three days of bike riding arround Sapa. When we came back from the trip we found in this place a true oasis with warm tasty soft drinks, fireplace and tasty food. An example of what I call the simplicity of true hospitality.
Highlight to the staff always willing to give the best out of your stay.
We stayed here 2 nights and was upgraded from our triple room to a bungalow villa which has better view of the rice terraces. The room is cosy and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful, and will help you to book the trekking tours, motorcycle, etc. The room rate also includes a wide selection of breakfast menu. For a small fees, you can also have lunch or dinner here. The transfer from the hotel to Sapa town is 80-100k VND.
Tips: Choose the Banana or Bamboo house for best view
Excellent service. Rooms are greatly decorated and fully equipped. Staff are so friendly and nice, they took a good care of us. It’s a very wonderful 2-day trip to Sapa and I will surely visit Eco House in my next visit here.
