The booking process was well communicated, we had the transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay and received emails with timings etc. The bus transfer was a luxury minibus, very comfortable. On arrival we were greeted warmly, and checked into our rooms. We'd booked a Junior Suite - it was amazing!! Lovely, huge balcony, bath with a view and a huge bathroom, so it was nice to chill out in the room for a bit. The breakfast & brunch were great, service staff were always on hand. The cocktails were really nice, and we had happy hour with complimentary hot drinks and cookies on the sun deck....lovely touch. They even arranged a special Vietnamese menu for the evening meal to celebrate the Tet New Year in style. We did most of the activities, kayaking and bamboo boat to the cave were really good, you could explore the area and get amazing memories and pictures. The areas on the cruise boat are really nicely decorated, from the bar, sun deck and restaurant...you feel like you're in a 5* hotel!! And when you look at other boats in the Bay they just don't compare to Le Theatre Cruise. Would definitely recommend Le Theatre Cruises to anyone who wants to visit Halong Bay.

We stayed in the panorama room which was beautiful. Fabulous views but no balcony, so if you want to sit out with a drink there is lots of room behind the bar or on the top floor. Huge bed with gorgeous views from it. Excellent bathroom, my partner particularly liked the heated loo seat and built in bidet facilities. Staff were amazing. Very attentive and helpful throughout. Happy to chat for ages about all things Vietnamese. Food was superb and seconds always available.

What an amazing cruise! My husband and I did the 2D1N cruise and it was such a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were well looked after. The itinerary scheduled for the cruise ran seamlessly and professionally. There was enough time given for guests to enjoy the experiences of a kayak, swim and aboard a small bamboo boat whilst taking in the magical scenery that ha long bay has to offer. All rooms were very clean, comfortable and have a balcony allowing you to comfortably enjoy and take in the beauty of the stones. Lastly, there was an abundance of food that tasted absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back again!

The staff is great - real professionals. The boat is super!!!! Fantastic food, beautiful rooms, nice activities for all ages. Wonderfull! don't miss it. Disliked รก 1 The cruise is very short - you board around 13:30 on the boat itself and you check out at 9:15. Less than 24 hours!!!!!! Would be nice to prolongue the experience till the afternoon. It feels too short. For the price you pay per night relatively to the time you actually spend on the boat makes it not so good value for money. 2. You have free bottles of water in your room BUT during all meals water costs around 2.5 usd per bottle, we found it a bit greedy. At breakfast you have juices but if you just want a glass of water - you need to pay.

Fantastic staff - very friendly and superb customer service. Ship is outstanding. Food is excellent. Activities need to be expanded - some of them only work for younger passengers ie kayaking. More variety and options would be good. Also the day small boat for the excursion/activity had people from other boats/cruise companies and the food was average because they were on a much cheaper tour. Le Theatre standard is higher so they might want to think about not mixing tour groups. These are small things - just hopefully helpful suggestions. We were very happy with the cruise overall.
