Sisi is the best tour guide in Sapa. The Sa Pa trip became more than memorable because of her. She is a local entrepreneur who is fluent in English and recently built her own homestay in the village.
The homestay is located deep inside the Sapa villages and is an excellent place to unwind from a busy life. During our stay we felt like we are part of her family and it was really wonderful feeling. We had dinner together and exchanged some cultural notes and also has a lot of light hearted moments.
From the moment we contacted her, everything was taken care of professionally. We got picked up on time and dropped back to Lao Cai station on time.
During our first day we trekked for 16 km through the remote areas of SaPa with Sisi's sister - Lam. She was an excellent tour guide too. The trek with the view of rice fields was one of the best we did! If you dont want to trek, she will can arrange a vehicle for you.
Simply, I would say - If you are planning to go Sapa, travel with Sisi!
My partner and I were recommended to go on tour with Sisi and we were delighted! Sisi was very flexible with the service we required and charged us a very fair price. She speaks a perfect English and answers every question you ask her. She's extremely pleasant to talk to, always smiling and also curious about the people she's taking on a tour. We walked for hours and from the beginning we felt we were wandering the magnificent landscapes with a friend. We strongly recommend you to explore the area with her as you surely won't regret it.
Sisi is a great tour guide. Knowledgeable about the area and the various minorities living around Sapa. She has excellent English and communication skills. Attentive to the various interests of our small group. Beyond my very positive recommendation on Sisi as a tour guide, she has an impressive personality, e.g. teaching women English, so they can increase their income by becoming tour guides.
Highly recommended if you visit Sapa area in Vietnam.
I have been travelling to Vietnam quite a lot for the past 17 years. And every time i visit Sapa, I use Sisi as my tour guide. .
She is a very friendly and warm-hearted person, She has brilliant English, she is very knowledgeable about the local area, the different minority people and the natural environment. The Quality of her tours is unmatched in Sapa in my opinion. She is very competitively priced and to top it off she also an amazing cook.
Highly recommended to anyone travelling to Sapa and looking for a memorable and pleasant trek!
We took a 2day:1night trekking tour with SiSi of SiSi Tour Guide.
On arrival from the night train , we were greeted warmly with our name being held by SiSi, our tour guide. Very comforting to be greeted and all ready to go with the driver near by.
We drove from the the train station in La Cai to Sa Pa ( about 1 hr) . After checking in at the Dragon Hotel in SaPa (excellent value for money ) , SiSi started our 2 day trekking tour.
What can I say !!
This tour through SiSi is the only way to see Sa Pa .
Excellent English , a passion for her culture and a wealth of knowledge of the area , Sisi was able to give us a very professional experience with the warmth from her spirit of her culture. We loved that about SiSi.
I highly recommend this tour .
