In a city like Singapore, it’s easy to forget that nature still exists alongside us. This exclusive series is our invitation to slow down and look closer. Discover Singapore’s wild side and the inspiring people quietly rewilding Singapore.

Love the interaction with actual farmers at their individual farms, and listening to their stories and experiences. The cooking class at the end of the tour was a cherry on top as we used the ingredients picked from the farms to cook up our group's version of laksa.

Love the interaction with actual farmers at their individual farms, and listening to their stories and experiences. The cooking class at the end of the tour was a cherry on top as we used the ingredients picked from the farms to cook up our group's version of laksa. 

Really enjoyed Wilson’s dedication and Winna’s planning to showcasing the beauty and thought the volunteer team did to create the Woodlands Botanical Gardens from a simple hill! Appreciated the insights from Ganesh, Wilson and Winna :) Even brought back a piece of the garden home

Really enjoyed Wilson’s dedication and Winna’s planning to showcasing the beauty and thought the volunteer team did to create the Woodlands Botanical Gardens from a simple hill! Appreciated the insights from Ganesh, Wilson and Winna :) Even brought back a piece of the garden home 

Enjoyed learning about how the gardens are deliberately designed to attract wildlife, especially how certain plants like the pagoda plants play host to the birdwing butterfly and the mistletoe for the painted jezelbel butterfly.

Enjoyed learning about how the gardens are deliberately designed to attract wildlife, especially how certain plants like the pagoda plants play host to the birdwing butterfly and the mistletoe for the painted jezelbel butterfly.

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and it was a lovely side of Singapore that I never knew existed. The whole experience was thoughtfully arranged.

Guides were very insightful on the wildlife we would usually miss if we came alone, mood was very light hearted and the organisers were well prepared. Shame that the night was too quiet and we didn’t see more animals.

A great and meaningful way to soak up some sunshine and get in touch with Mother Nature! Rare opportunity to reconnect with nature in our hyper urbanized lifestyles. Really enjoyed walking around the community gardens and harvesting our herbs (chili padi, laksa leaves, lemongrass, torch ginger etc) for our farm-to-table laksa lunch!
