This is one of the few Cat Ba trips where you stay both on a traditional cruise and in a village homestay - so you don’t have to choose between comfort and a truly local experience. On the first night, unwind in a cosy private cabin onboard a 5-cabin boat. The next night, you’ll sleep in a homestay in Viet Hai Village, a secluded community tucked deep inside Cat Ba National Park. While most travellers only stay in Cat Ba Town, Viet Hai is cut off from the main roads, so you’ll wake up to a much quieter and authentic side of the island.Most overnight cruises only offer a single night at sea and stick to standard routes - but this 3-day experience goes deeper. You’ll venture further into Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay and even the cinematic Tung Cai Lagoon (from Kong: Skull Island) in a small group of max 10 people.
