If you want to see a more local side of Khao Sok — away from the usual tourist trail but still with a peek at its famous Cheow Lan Lake — this cosy farmstay + lake day trip combo is perfect.You’ll be hosted by four cheeky and warm sisters at their family-run farmstay, tucked away from the main street and surrounded by birds, butterflies, and veggie gardens. Jui, your Seek Sophie host, used to work in hotels but traded it all to grow food and welcome guests with her sisters — Sa, Sunny, and Chom. They’ll cook up feasts of crispy fried chicken, rich curries, fresh fruit platters, and veggies straight from the garden. You’ll also get to join their fun cooking class, head out on a night safari, explore hidden caves, or float down the river.You'll also spend a day out at Cheow Lan Lake, where you’ll hop on a boat safari to spot wildlife, then spend the afternoon swimming, kayaking, and soaking in the lake’s epic beauty.What to ExpectSettle into your cozy farmstay room and feel like part of Jui's family.Choose your own adventure on Day 1: Master authentic Thai recipes in a hands-on cooking class, or embark on a thrilling night safari to spot elusive nocturnal creatures at Khao Sok National park.Embark on a scenic long-tail boat trip across the emerald waters of Cheow Lan Lake, encircled by dramatic limestone cliffsTrek to a hidden cave or a cascading waterfall, depending on the season, and savor a delicious lunch at a floating rafthouse.Head to Cheow Lan Lake for a day and spend an afternoon kayaking, swimming, or simply soaking up the tranquility of the lake.Embark on a final water adventure on the Sok River, choosing between bamboo rafting, canoeing, or tubing (July-February) through the lush jungle.Khao Sok's weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for sudden rain showers, especially during the wet season. Bring a lightweight rain jacket and embrace the changes, as they can add a refreshing element to your adventure!After the water activities on Day 3, you will return to the farm stay and have some time to freshen up in your room. You can enjoy a refreshing shower and change clothes before your check-out at 12 PM.Important NotesIf you choose the cooking class option on Day 1 and have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please let Jui and her sisters know in advance so they can accommodate you during your stay.The Khao Sok National Park, pier, and wildlife sanctuary fees are not included in the package and are approximately 540 THB per adult and 270 THB per child in total. Payable in cash only. (These fees are subject to change based on park policies) Please ensure you bring enough cash to cover these fees.Resort do not accept credit cards. There is an ATM in the nearby town if you need to withdraw cash.Group Activity Policy: Activities must be selected as a group; individual members cannot choose different options for the same time slot.Once you arrive at the Cheow Lan Lake, you’ll be off the grid! There is no mobile signal, so it’s the perfect chance to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.The rafthouse operates on limited electricity. During the daytime, there will be no power.
