Charlotte is a British architect, and Jerome is a Bidayuh builder from the local community. Together with Simo, the village chief, they built this homestead with the Bidayuh community from the ground up.
It’s not just a place to stay. It’s a nonprofit project designed to support local families and protect the forest. Everything here — from the buildings to the experiences — is shaped by the people who live on this land.
